I have the Edelbrock TES headers... I absolutely hate them. In my opinion, they are the worst possible short/mid-length LT1 header you can go with. The AS&M/RKSport and MAC shorties are a far better choice. The eddies are proven to be chokers, and the plug access is zilch. I've replaced wires 4 different times due to frying them on the Edelbrock headers.

Don't take this as a bash, because that's not what it is at all. I've heard that some enthusiasts have gotten decent gains and are pretty happy with the eddies, but it seems that they are few and far between. I am just trying to present the facts through my experiences with the Edelbrock TES headers/Y.

I have them uncoated but have no problem with heat in the bay. The problems that I have with them are almost totally due to design. As for flow, don't take my word for it, I've never had a comparo done. I could be wrong even, I'm just taking it for what I have heard on the forums.

Jon, those are the headers i pulled off of that Blown LT1.... Very shitty, flow like *** and are just not worth the money. I wish i could say they are better but they are not. Flowtechs are usually better then the TES Eddie's headers. Not to mention this car is just like Jons Blown, cam and 100 shot, and still a turd Just messing with you, but i would advise picking up some flowtechs or hookers!!

13.632@102.32 with a 2.14 short time. This was as close to stock as I ever was. 93 T/A M6 with the close ratio transmission. I had a K&N CAI, flowmaster muffler, gutted cat, hypertech powercoil, B&M ripper, and 17X9 WS6 rims with Firehawk SZ50 tires.

I just ran my car stock, with a really bad ignition problem.....14.9@92 and a terrible 2.5 60ft time. In the process of getting the ignition fixed then will post the other times.
