Sounds like your stabbing the throttle off of idle.......Foot brake that thing and get the converter loaded - then figure out what rpm it leaves best at without spinning.....

And big congrats on your car.

The fist run was a 1.56 60ft stalling the up rpm to about 2000-2200 with about 20psi in the rears.. The second run was about 1500rpm with 17psi in the rears and I got a 1.51 60ft. I've been hearing mixed reviews about leaving off idle verses stalling it up some..

Finally went to the track yesterday and made a few passes. My 2-3 shift was tapping the limiter, but I still manage to run a best of 11.375 @118.78, 1.52 60ft and even lifted the wheels a little. All with the Revmax 4000.. I'm so satisfied how everything turned out...
nice to see stron LT's mine is still off the shelf AFR 180 Hotcam all stock fuel system and electronics. as you can see I could't muster up a 60' worth a dam.

Your MPH tells me you're leaving a little ET (maybe 0.2) on the table. My first and last time at the track (blew stock tranny on just my 4th pass), my 92 LT1 ran 11.71 but only 111mph. To run 11.75 is nice, but something tells me your car is faster yet just the way she sits ... I think mine is too, but it will cost me $3000 next month to find out. Oh well, it's only money!!!

Get that 60'ft down packed and you could definitely run deeper in the 11's.. I use to have a Hot Cam and I ran 11.98 @115 1.6x 60ft.. Its nice to see that I'm running with stroker's.. And those little AFR 180cc heads are a nice little weapon when placed with the right cam..

Just keep trying different launch rpms and see what it likes best. Try to stage consistently and keep tire pressure the same. Some converters like an idle flash while others like a little foot brake while others like to be pushing through them.

Very impressive for stock cubic inch and NA. Who tunes your car? I have LE2 h/c and have managed a best of 7.49 (1/8). I'm full weight plus a 6pt cage but I'd love to see some low 7s NA.
