Do you have a no race headers and a ypipe? Also how much to ship to 01545?

Speed Engineering 03-12-2014 04:50 PM

Not in our own brand. The only version we offer is with no air/egr fittings. Shipping is flat rate at 20.00.

Thanks
Sean

saw on your ebay webpage that you must indicate flat or square front o2 connector. i have a 94 a4 lt1 does anyone know if that would be flat or square? pretty interested in this kit. how does this compare to pacesetter?

94 LT1 should have flat O2 connectors. And as far as the stainless steel headers vs. Pacesetter it's all about longevity.. The stainless steel headers will prolly outlast the car..

My pacesetters are starting to rust out after 4-5 years of DD in nh. Think I might be ordering a set.

Sounds good. Ya, the flat and square style O2 Sensors are kinda hit and miss throughout the years. We have seen them both. Usually the newer years would have the square style design.

Thanks
Sean

:hijack: Should have paid extra for the "Armor coat" ceramic coated version...I've had mine 5 years and they still look new, no rust. Then again, I live in the South.

Just curious, are these stepped headers? What are the primaries diameter?

X2... Looking at the pictures they don't look to be stepped, not sure.

Speed Engineering 03-13-2014 03:48 PM

Nope, they are 1 3/4" primaries & 3" collectors.

Thanks

cool any body recomend a ypipe for this set up or will any ypipe work ok?

Speed Engineering 03-13-2014 09:24 PM

I believe there are a couple. Most common one we here customers saying are the Pacesetter Y-Pipes. We haven't personally tried any at the shop however. Most of the time we end up making a true dual exhaust of some sort.

Thanks
Sean

I'm guessing they're made from 304 stainless tubing instead of 321?

We had one customer that went from standard to stepped headers, went back on the dyno and no change in Tq or HP, But all are different, some may have made more with the stepped..

transamws6_97 03-14-2014 08:57 AM

what stainless are these headers?

1994Z28Lt1 03-14-2014 09:13 AM

I've never seen stainless headers that cheap? what is the different between the 25-1019-1 and the 25-1019? they both say race version??

I have pacesetters ceramics LT's that are looking pretty ugly down by the collectors, these look almost identical as far as design and stainless would be a nice upgrade. how is the fit around the steering shaft as well as the oil filter and how about with after market oil pans with kickouts?

Speed Engineering 03-14-2014 10:46 AM

Catmaigne: Yes they are 304 stainless

1994Z28Lt1: We have a similar LS1 version we sell for the same price. Our goal was to make a quality header for a cheap price to compete with some of the OBX style headers. The only difference in part numbers is one has O2 Extensions and the other doesn't.

Fitment seems to be pretty good so far everyone seems to be pretty happy with them.

Thanks
Sean
