Default exhaust manifold bolt GRR

Hello
I have all the exhaust manifold bolts out except the 2nd one from the back on the drivers side. it almost seems like the head is rusted off but it didnt sheer

any idea what to do, i tried turbo sockets and that didnt work

Have you tried penetrating oil, as well as one of those sockets that have "gripping teeth", that grab on to rounded bolts?

i sprayed all of them a few days ago rellly well. they all came out w/o much fight and this one i cant even get a grip on it, yea i tried one of thsockets with teeth, is it possable that the head is a different size than the rest?

Maybe a mirror and a flash light could help you see it.

Ah have you tried a different size socket?

If it's one of the bolts with a little rusty collar/spacer between the bolt head and the manifold then you're in luck. Grind the head of the bolt off with a dremel so there's nothing but a stud left. You'll be able to remove the manifold now to gain more access. Then you can either back the stud out using 2 nuts torqued against each other (what I had to do, recommended) OR grip the stud with some vise grips (last resort, will damage threads).

You'll be able to remove the manifold now to gain more access.
