Do you have shot lifters and bent pushrods currently?

No but the pushrods are mix matched from previous owner and I know that's not good. So I plan to do this, & later along with a cam. I was just wondering will this set up work properly with stock springs, So I can put it in now & the cam and springs in later...???

The lifters are a waste of time, if yours work, leave them alone. 1.6 RRs really need at least an LT4 spring or similar to be safe with the added lift. Get a pushrod length checker and see what you will need with the 1.6rr's.

If you want to do this once, don't get cheap junk rockers either, look at Comp Pro Mag Ultras non self aligning and you will need guideplates.

No! Like formula said.. it's not safe. & not worth it. Change the springs you might as well do the cam at the same time.

Nah I wasn't being rude. I was just saying because a cam would be only a couple more hundred away
