Hey guys, I just put my LT4 knock module and LT1 PCM on ebay for sale, I know they are hard to find its only got 400 miles on it and PCM. If anyone is interested I set the bid to start at 150. With no reserve.
I also put aLT1 smog tube and some 30 lb
Trick Flow injectors on there cheap. Good luck.

Also the LT4 knock module allows running roller rockers headers and radical cam without the PCM pulling timing.

so does the lt1 knock module retard timing if have roller rockers and long tube headers?

It MAY, since the headers and/or roller rockers MAY produce noises that are similar to the sound of detonation, as "heard" by the knock detector.

Yes that was the idea behind the LT4 module when GM built it because the LT4 was a much stronger motor.

The lt4 came with roller rockers from the factory which produce more noise and can be picked up by the knock sensor. The lt4 knock module is set up to be less sensitive.

LT4 also had the composite valve covers to help absorb some of the valve train noise.
