96 Trans Am Cluster guage swap for 97-02 cluster guage
Just a quick question. I wanted to know if a 97-02 Trans Am cluster gauge will fit in my 96 Trans Am if I swap it out for a newer year T/A ?

They are analog gauges until the LS1 came out, then they switched to digital.
That's why you can't correct inaccurate fuel gauge on 24x conversion. The LS PCM controls the digital gauges. I have fought that battle and lost.

Be mindful that the 98 was the stepchild year just like the 93 was.. I know for a fact that the 97 would work as I did the whole dash swap myself in my Camaro. But the guy I bought the cluster from said it could work in a 98 also.. He owns a Camaro/Firebird junkyard and tinkers with those type of things all day..
