I want to say good work!
How did your 24x build go? I've been debating Megasquirt or 24x for opti-replacement. Are you running an electric waterpump? If so, what water pump are you using? What year LT1 are you running?
Maybe in 8 years I'll be done with my project too. Solid build man!

The 24x build was great, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. Just make sure you have a tuner lined up or know how to do it yourself. I haven't looked at the Megasquirt stuff in years, so I don't remember much about it. I have been using HPtuners, and learning a ton. I have a corvette waterpump, since I bought a 385 ci LT4 complete engine. This wouldn't have taken 8 years but I had to modify EVERYTHING on the car, and do many things multiple times before I liked it, add in starting a family and it all adds up to an eternity.

After 8 years of working on everything else I was finally able to finish the engine and mostly finish the engine bay (I say mostly because nothing is ever done).
You are looking at a 385ci LT4
-Lingenfelter ported heads and intake
-24x Conversion
-Custom mounted and custom intercooled F1A
-LPP long tubes
-Custom Air Intake Box using Dodge Viper Air Cleaners
-Custom Strut Tower Brace
Custom Intake Box that I designed and made.
Now I just hope the combination works!
And yes the hood barely closes...

Among the finest engine bays I've ever scene!
Absolutely amazing!
What did you do with your Coils?
I'm afraid my build is going to go 8 years... but it's not going to come out anywhere near as clean as that... and by then, 500 HP 10MPG HP will be a crime of inadequacy.
BTW: I shared a couple of your Eng. bay photos on my facebook feed and you're a hit!

Thanks OVA1.
I mounted the coils under my headlights, I don't really like how long the wires are but they aren't much longer than with the opti. Getting rid of the pop-up headlights left a lot of room.
I really hope my 69 Camaro doesn't take another 8 years!
