Default Tire Size Suggestions

Hey guys, the new; cc503/nitrous outlet plate build ball is rolling and I am curious what you guys think I should run tire size wise. I am thinking the car should trap between 115-120 area with cc503 and supportive valve train/full bolt ons/ 3.73 gears/ 125-150 shot/ SS3600. What do you guys think?

What are you going to do suspension wise? Are you going to run stock size wheels or a big & littles combo?

With some effort and math, you can probably hook on a decent track with a 26x8.5x15 slick since you'll be using an auto. Or if you want to run oem suspension, want the big tire look, and hook up decent you can use a 275/60/15 drag radial and not beat in the factory wheel tubs.

A lot more windows of opportunity and forgiveness when running a stalled auto.

What are you planning for shift point? On 26" tires, at 6,700rpms, with 3.73's in third you'll be at 139mph with no converter slip. With 4.10's you'll be at 127.

I already have the 3.73 gears, I was afraid 4.10s would be too much because I do enjoy to drive the car small amounts to car shows out of town. Also traction was a big concern of mine so I compromised with the 3.73s.

Don't run a 28" tire unless you roll the fender lip.
