Who still makes a turbo kit for the lt1
I called forced inductions today to ask them about the turbo kit they make for the lt1. and they said it's no longer in production fabing a kit is not an option for me. if i cant find somebody that still makes a good kit. I'll have to go pro charger so I don't waste a fully forged engine that I had built for boost.

I have a custom built, brand new front mount SS turbo kit (non-intercooled) built by Jon (the guy mentioned here; lt1boost I think) in partnership with Jason Short, who is a well respected member; both are engineers by trade.
The car was literally built on Jason's 97 Camaro SS and went back and forth (the frame w/motor) between Jon and Jason to make sure it fit perfect. If you have a 1997 Camaro SS I would virtually guarantee it would fit perfect, and quite frankly would think on any LT1 Fbody I could say damn near close to the same. It loses AC but has almost stock ground clearance, which as many can attest is rare. It is brand new and complete with a refreshed precision turbo, includes high end hardware and gaskets, etc. It's the proverbial cats meow, as they say
I was planning on doing a turbo build but I am getting to that stage where reality is setting in with my almost two year old and a new house. It will probably be years until I use it. I would consider parting with it, for the right price, but please know there was literally no expense spared in designing and spec'ing this kit. If you are interested feel free to shoot me a PM. I believe all it needs is your choice of BOV and Wastegate, otherwise it is complete. I also have a dual intank fuel pump to support the power I planned to make.

Thanks for the offer sleeper but I'm not 100% ready to get a kit yet I was mainly looking to see if anybody still made one as I feared that I was going to have a problem getting one and to help me know what cam I'm going to go with as a turbo reqiers a special cam and if I could not find a kit that somebody makes still I was going to get one with a little more lsa and get a procharger if you think you might have it around next spring I might be interested in it as that's when I plan to buy my forced induction setup building the engine for boost has cost me a descent amount of $ I have to take a few months and recover lol.

You have to grind a little bit off the corner of the block IIRC. Talk to a vendor there is an upgrade available if buying a new kit. Makes little sense to me if buying a new kit not to go to a F1A for only a few hundred more unless you plan on racing in a class that limits blower size. The F1A will have a higher HP ceiling and be less likely to have blet slip issues than a smaller blower.
Remember if you opt for the F1A the first time it's like $500ish to go for the bigger head unit. Buy the D1SC and want to upgrade down the road, expect to pay around $3500 for the F1A head unit alone.
