Autozone carries (or used to) the Melling with metal collar.

I wrote that in such a hurry, I should have noted it was the one that bolts into the valley. I over torqued the old one, and broke it. I had my spare in the toolbox from another old motor, now i'm hoping and praying it didn't spin a bearing... We shall see in the AM.

As far as I know, a fellow by the name of Shon Herron, was the only one making the billet oil drive "spuds". He used to make them on a regular "batch basis", but I think the demand had tapered off, over time. I bought one about 2, maybe 3 years ago, but I got it from someone on this forum, who had bought it but didn't use it.

I had a spare in the tool box from an old motor, worked for now. Got lucky and didn't spin a bearing.
