Default Motive Or Yukon Gears

So my plan for the car was to get a cam 1.6 RR's, Valvesprings, Harden Pushrods, unfortunately something has come up that took my cam fund. But i have some money left enough for a gear swap. Right now i have 323 going to 373. I am leaning towards the Motive or Yukon gears, i know Motive are cheaper and have a good name but i am being told to get Yukon Gears. What is the difference?

Don't know anything about Yukon, but Motives are outstanding and quiet if installed correctly. You will have to get your speedo recalibrated or it will read fast.

I have run both without issues. If I had my choice between the two, Yukon.

like any gear, quality installation is critical

Some have less margin for error than others, like Richmond.

At the end of October I went from 3.89's to 4.30's. Moser Engineering said they have had really good luck with US Gear, so I tried theirs out. They are extremely quiet and the only time I hear them make any noise is on decel.

Thanks for the reply's i know about the tune i will send my PCM, back for a reflash after the gear change. The guy who is doing the work for me has done a ton of gear changes in F-Body's. I had Richmond's in my old Firebird, they were noisey did not like them. I have decided to go with Motive's cheaper and i have been reading nothing but good on them. Once again thanks everyone.

FYI, the Summit brand gears are black label Motives so save a few bucks and go with them.

I've had both. Both were good products. If it were down to just those two I'd have to choose Motive
