Been a good while since I updated. I'll grab some pictures next weekend. But I have the transmission in the car. The stall and everything worked out well. I am getting the pcm flashed for the mods this week and also getting the rotors and pads going.

Next weekend if all goes well this old thing will move under its own power. Today on the lift it did turn the wheels for the first time in nearly 10 years!! It's shaping up quickly from a mechanical stand point. I'm ordering a torque are bushing and I have a water leak to fix as well as a handful of small things to address.

2-3 weeks I plan to drive it and begin prepping for paint! The end is near.

Great build! I have fixed up a very nasty, sitting in the weeds for years, 93 Trans Am once as well. When I was done with the car, it sold for 10k.

I'm sure this one won't have that kind of value. Lol. But I do plan for the end result to be a nice restoration and hopefully an 11 second car.

Didn't get a ton of pictures like I had planned. I undercoated inside all of the wheel wells and remounted the wheels after getting new rotors and pads.

The transmission is all buttoned up. The poly mounts are all installed. I removed and repaired my water leak issue at the water pump.

I'm also proud to say the car started and drove 2-300 feet up the road!!!

Still have a couple gauges to fix and a header that is hitting the floor board. I plan to start getting some body panels painted. I also need to get the Pcm flashed.

checking in again guys. Got the pcm flashed for the mods I have done. Going out this weekend to install it. Also plan to fix the header clearance issues I'm having and take it for a longer ride.

The major work is gonna be prepping the jambs for paint next weekend. Excited to try my hand and painting a car. Excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel after over a year.

I got all of the jambs prepped for paint as well as the underside of the hood and hatch. I will have some good pictures next weekend of the final prep and the red going on the car!!

Also ran the car up to about 65mph today without any issue. She seems to maybe be mechanically sound at this point knock on wood.

Spent today spraying the jambs and back of the hood. Should spend the next few weekends getting the car ready for paint itself. It was my first try at painting so bare with me.

Took a couple shots with the paper removed. Pretty drastic color change. It's not a perfect job by any means but it will do. Next weekend I'm gonna put all the seals and door trim back on. Will also begin prepping the bumpers for paint. Excited to be painting.

Hey man thats awesome! I'm in the same process but yours was way more to tackle then mine. I purchased mine from an older guy who just kept it running for his son then in the end his son didn't want the car so it sat around in the driveway and was driven here and then. My trans went out about 2months after I got the car so I upgraded to a stage 2 4l60e. I just started working on the interior I'm going all black since I'm not a tan guy. I'm waiting on the new black leather to come in then my interior will be done. Next will come paint since the org paint is pealing off everywhere and its just ugly, Stock hood we be replaced with an SS hood since it all rusted under. I will either be getting painted an orange or a hyper blue you see on the new camaros. Here and there I been doing some mods also car was stock when I got it I added a hooker catback and have an slp intake on the way along with long tube headers come next week. Here is my progress for now, Cant wait to ditch the tan seats, The seats look way worse in person then that photo for some reason Over all the engine seems healthy but once I decide I want more power I'll upgrade to a 355 or 383. Thats to far ahead so I'm not trying to think that far just yet.

Checking in again. I got all of my jamb work done. I also finished all of the inside 99.99% anyways. I don't have pictures yet but I got the fenders, hood, and hatch back on and lined up.

Main currently fixing window switches, routing a custom intake elbow, and finishing up a wire or two.

Yesterday i I put on the cat and made my own y pipe for about $40 which looks good in my opinion. Car sounds awesome.

Im wrapping up these small things and I'll shoot a few more pics. Then it's time to get to sanding for primer.

Also so a side note I drove it about 7-10 miles without any dash lights or issues. Looking good over here! Knock on wood lol

Bad bad lighting makes the color look orange. I got my cold air kit mocked up and finished today. Bought some aluminum elbow from Napa and cut it to fit. Then powder coated it. Much better than buying a kit in my opinion lol.

Everything is is done now. I made a pull today to about 90 mph without any leaks or failures. I also got my window switches installed and the inside done completely. I'll grab some pictures of it inside in a day or two. I think it looks good. Now I'm just gonna re flush the coolant and start sanding the outside for primer!
