I am in for one more disappointment too. Wake me up when the final cost of tooling is known and the plan become a reality so I can throw my money at it.

IMO the easiest, most convenient way to go about this would be a gofundme page. Where the problem lies is his example of 15,000 people donating 70k and saying that's not a lot, but for a group like that you're talking close to $500 each, which most won't want to let go without some sort of guarantee. Even if a block did come out of this then you're into just the block for ~3K before parts/assembly. If that truly is the case, LSx is still the most reasonable way to go. I just don't see nearly that many potential buyers or even interested parties for something like this.

Agreed with SS RRR. It is cheaper and just makes more sense to go LSX or SBC with the aftermarket support that is already available.

Oh how a 400+ci LT would sound with a gigantic Cam Motion LLSR.

Being the negative nancy/richard, but what about headers? What's offered that can support big CID? Custom?

Custom turbo manifolds swept up and twin 88s.

Might as well spend all the fake money right?

Hedman 1.875 with 3.5" collectors are still made to support bigger cubes and more horsepower. I run them on mine. Plug access is horrible but the header bolts are easy to get to due to the stahl flange.

Lemons will make up to a 2" primary header for our cars as well. Sub $2k...IIRC around $1700.

Possible to go as big as 4.250" bore. Price would be in line with the World Motown SBC block

I currently run the Hedman headers, but at big power levels most are custom built headers.
