Enjoyed reading this thread! I still can't believe how cheap you got that black z28 for. Also I really like the enkei wheels on the 94, two of my friends that trans ams with the same wheels back in the day. They are one of the best looking wheels on a 4th gen in my opinion.

My z28 is also a hard top and I originally was looking for a t top car also but the hard top car looks a little cleaner in my opinion. Except for those perfect days when you wish you could take your tops out lol

I like the look of the wheels too. They really go good with the silver color of the camaro. Seems like you hardly see these wheels anymore. I think a hardtop camaro is lighter than t top car.

Here are some pictures of the true dual exhaust. It has really good ground clearance. The bottom of the car was fabricated so the exhaust tucks up higher.

I installed a new 160 degree thermostat today. I discovered chunks of crud on top of the old thermostat. I cleaned it all out good before installing the new one.

That looks nasty. I'm glad you found it.
Can we get more pictures of the car?

It's looking good if you ever get that car up on a lift, get some good pics of that exhaust setup.

Here is some pictures I took under the car when I had the engine out. I will take some pictures of the exhaust setup next time I have it up on a lift. I will be working on the interior next.

Haven't made any updates on the thread in a while so I thought I would post a short video of the car.

Looking good on your build.

If you do remove it though, you need to be aware that the charcoal canister will get full because it's catching all of the fuel vapors from the gas tank. So that would have to be addressed. I left mine on.
I am kind of lost here. I just removed the thing on the engine, capped the throttle body plug, and left the hose from the canister coiled up out of the way. What's the charcoal canister going to get full of? Fuel? I always planned to drop the tank and replace it with a plastic one from a 99-02 and get rid of the canister then. I wanted the evap gone to clear up getting to the valve covers and reduced clutter and complication.

I did the same as you removing that stuff. I still have the canister. I will probably remove that sometime. I think the the charcoal canister is there to catch fuel vapors.

Yes, to catch vapors and make them not smell, but what's it full of? Condensed vapor fuel turning to liquid, so filled with raw gas? What happens when it's full? Spills out?
