Default Car too loud! help!
I have a 94 Camaro Z28 bone stock with a LM1 cat back. I just cut out the catalytic converter because it's gone bad 3 times in the past year i've gotten the car and I'm sick of replacing it over and over again. My problem is that the car is so freaking raspy now and sounds like a tin can. What is the best muffler I can put on the car to quiet it down and get rid of the rasp?

If you're looking to just replace the lm1 resonator I believe the moroso spiral flows or the Magnaflow round muffler will be your best options for noise reduction.

If you killed three cats in one year, you have some engine running issues that should be addressed.

Magnaflow is pretty tame and sounds good at full throttle. It really comes down to preference. YouTube will be your best bet to narrow it down to what you like or would prefer.

What is your setup on the car? Any other modifications done besides exhaust? Are you still running the AIR pump? LT1's are notorious for burning extremely rich when cold. The answer was to run an AIR pump which channeled fresh air into the exhaust to help the catalytic converter heat up more quickly.
