If you don't know how many miles the used AI heads have on them, you should confirm the springs are in good condition and meet the requirements of whatever cam you get

Valve stem seals also

Coolant and oil. Razor blade to clean sealant off mating surfaces. Permatex Ultra Black for intake. No reason to replace valve cover gaskets unless old ones are leaking. You may want to replace banjo bolt seals as well. www.shbox.com should have the part number for them.

Thank you very much! And ******, I already had them gone over. They are the .650 lift Manley Nexteks, I should be good for a pretty healthy cam.

yes, use one on each side of the banjo. One between banjo and head and the other between banjo and banjo bolt head

These are similar to oil drain plug gaskets often sold in the "help" section of auto part stores. They were only a few $ at dealership when I last bought them

I have this setup with the 228/234 108 AI cam and it works well. Lots of low and midrange torque.
