Gm 847 cam

I have been looking around and can’t find any for sale new. Have they been discontinued? If any knows where I can get one or has one for sale please let me know. Thank you

Have you checked to see if they're still listed in the GMPP catalog?

If they're not listed, then the likelihood of finding one is remote.

They still sell what looks like a gen1 version of the GM847 under part number 19244485

So what is the difference between the regular sbc cam and a lt1? Is it just the length of the pin?

The opti spark shaft slides in the front of the cam also.

You will have to get one that is for a roller engine (roller lifters). The cam snout is machined with a step for a cam plate to keep it from walking. If you have a vented opti then you will have to get the center hole in the cam snout drilled out to accept the opti.
