Default Coolant hose routing and bleeding

I deleted my ac and heat and plugged the water pump back into itself where the heater hoses used to be. The result is this loop I put in is now the highest ppint in the coolant system. Do you think it is likely that air will collect here? Should I try and put a bleeder in here somehow?

Any reason why I couldn't just use one of these? I already threw out the heater hose that had the bleeder in it

Eh, I reckon it'd work as long as you didn't try to open it while the system was under pressure.

Yea i figured I would use it to bleed. Just unscrew it a little until I can hear it gurgling. Then once coolant starts coming out, shut it tight. A bit messier than I'd like but it will do. I'd never open it otherwise. I'm trying to track down a heater hose in the meantime to cut the bleeder section out but man those things got expensive

Yeah. If there's air trapped there you can close off the thermostat bleeder and radiator cap while leaving that port open while the coolant is still cold. As the coolant expands it can escape. That's at least how I'd do it.

Cool beans. I'll just slap that thing in there and move on. Nice little $3 bleeder, lol. Thanks for the help.
