I'm not boosted but I literally just picked up my fuel rails from a shop that I had weld on some an fittings to. In my opinion wouldn't you have more options for regulators for you boosted guys that need all the fuel? I picked up a holley regulator that I have mounted on the firewall.

Found a guy at a custom motorcycle shop to weld them for $40. I called around a few different places. Seems that if all they have to do is weld, the average I got was $25 a fitting

Hmmm. Might make sense since the motor is apart anyways and I'm changing the oil return spot on my oil pan too.

The turbo setup is a Forced Induction Gen 2 system. Yeah, it should have been tearing up the street and tracks all these years, but the installers messed up everything inside and outside the motor. I'm doing everything over myself.
Definitely looking to switch over when life permits. Did you partial fill your block? Are you driving on the street too?

Out of curiosity though, is there a benefit to going with a universal type regulator, rather than a direct fit boost-referenced one from Aeromotive, Holley, etc?

For me, I have aftermarket rails, so the LTX reg would not work. If you plan on running AN lines and ditching the plastic lines, then the universal would be something to look into. FYI, mine is vac ref as well.

I was going to say the same thing as well. I looked into the ltx ones and ending up with that holley unit for $65. It's also vacuum reference and is adjustable up to 60psi. I did however already have an lines and just had to make one small line to add to the setup. Added cost of an fittings and line puts me around $200 total

Looking more at these posts, Because I'll be nearing 1k HP at the flywheel, I think I want to convert over to a parallel setup. I don't want the last 1 or two injectors starved. The only downside is all of the posts I can find on this are so old most of the links don't work and pictures are gone. :/

Yeah, the power my car will see will be fine on the series setup. But it' nice because I could easily upgrade later since it's already all there.
My holley regulator is not LTX specific
