Cooling Fans won't turn on. Completely stumped.

So I have a 96 Camaro SS that the cooling fans will not turn on under any normal circumstance. So far I have replaced all 3 relays, the temp sensor on the water pump, and the fans themselves. If I jump the fan relays the fans will come on, so the circuit is getting power. I've tried wiring a manual fan switch in two different ways. I've done the right way by splicing into the circuit near the pcm and by taking the wires directly to the relays. Both ways are shown here in a different thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-m...ch-how-do.html . I'm out of ideas of what to do at this point because I can't imagine how wiring directly to the relays wouldn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the factory programmed setting for them to turn on, I think it is somewhere above 210 Fahrenheit. I know my fans work but they never turn on even when my coolant temp is at operating temperature, 210 on the gauge. I safely assume that my engine has proper coolant cooling and engine oil cooling to not require the additional cooling help from the electric fans. Basically you don't want them constantly turning on as this will wear them out and shorten their lifespan.

If you want the fans to turn on sooner the Hypertech programmer will allow you to do it, I think at temps 160 Fahrenheit and 180 Fahrenheit if memory serves me correctly.

if you pull the plug of sensor on the front of water pump both fans should come on in a few seconds. That would show the stock wiring & relays, unless you already altered it, is working

you can measure the resistance of the temp sensor using this chart to see if it is good. It may be bad feeding your PCM wrong info thus not turning on fans
