Rhetorical Question

This isnt good, right? i mean, its not catastrophic apparently, but still not good by any means. Obvious EGR feed pipe is obvious. My question is, am i labeling this wrong? im tryin to look up a replacement and its just showin me block off plates and the valve itself. no real "heres the damn thing" results. Am i callin this thing by the right name? i goin by shoebox's diagrams on the terminology. Im looking through part data bases anything surrounding the EGR and its just showin me block off plates, gaskets, and the valve.

Furthermore, if not replaceable, for some reason, any ideas on a fix? ive even forum searched and i think that terminology thing is biting me again. just lots of results of deleting it. And if that comes up, no. im not deleting the EGR. i dont need to be fabing things up blindly with my hands behind the intake. the damn things startin to hard start and tried to die alittle at a light so im hoping this is the reason, if not i gotta go the fuel pump/pressure route. i keep tellin myself "i love my car".

Thanks for the help again fellas.

Semper Fi, if I am permitted to type this to you! You are looking for GM Part# 12551318. I tried looking for the "EGR pipe" for an LT1 5.7L engine and yes it is a royal pain but you are in luck! Ebay can be a godsend sometimes.

Type in the bold words for the search since I am not sure they allow certain links on this forum out of respect to the vendors here. 1994 1995 1996 Chevy Impala SS LT1 EGR Valve Pipe Stem Tube They have 3 available.
