Default AFR 210 vs AI Trickflow 215

These are the 2 heads I'm deciding on for my 396. Full weight street car, M6. Will be running an LT1 or LT4 intake depending on which heads. What are the pros and cons of these heads? I'll be going with an AI cam either way.

I have the Trick Flows from Lloyd Elliot and I would NEVER recommend them. They are the 21* 185's that Lloyd ported out to 215 and the valvetrain geometry is all wrong. The pushrods were rubbing the heads in all sorts of places. Sent the heads back to Lloyd so he could grind away as much head material as possible. I also had to buy adjustable guide plates and do my own grinding on them. I was able to get the sweep adjusted to like 90-95% of where it should be for all cylinders. They perform well (400rwhp with 219/227 .549/.565 114+3 cam in a 383), but not worth the headache or the money.

I had the trick flow 23 degree 195cc heads ported to 210cc from Lloyd Elliot with a 223/231 .580 .590 cam on a 112lsa cam. Around 11:5:1 compression.
No issues what so ever with the heads. Made an approx 420-425rwhp.
If you are getting an advanced induction cam why not go with there 200cc CNC ported stock heads?

My current combo already makes more power than those heads. Running ported AFR 195s now. I'd have to put bigger valves in them to make any more power with them and it's just easier to buy new and sell the old ones.

They do, but from what I understand you have to wait until they get a spare minute.

I'm starting to lean towards AFR. Any reason I shouldn't get the competition portwork?
