LT1 Engine Questions
1. Before I tore my motor down there was a nocking noise, but when I tore it down there was nothing broke or unusual looking inside of the motor?
2. The block looks good and measures up good I just dont know if I need to have it machined for anything?
3. What all should I replace while building it, I am going to the LT4 Hot Cam Kit for sure, so what else should I replace?
4. Where can I get a good rebuild kit for the LT1?
5. Whats a good clutch to put in it?
It would be good if you took the block to a machine shop and at least had them run a clean up bore on it.That way the rings have a nice hatch to seat with.
