Any LT1 get low 11's? I didn't see any one here in this forum get this number. What are his mods? Is it for daily driver? |
my 97 Trans Am was a daily driver. Ran 11.02@124 before the trans exploded. stock long block,bolt on's,nitrous,9",big stall,built trans. |
mine went 11.33 at 119 with pretty much the same mods as dirk(above me) mine was a daily driver also it will go faster b/f i take it aaprt thoguh |
200 shot.... is it still a stock shortblock? how much does it pick you up ET and MPH wise? |
plenty of LT1's have been there with a 150 shot and stock long block... all in the suspension.. |

Been 11.03 @ 119, stock bottom end, LT4 heads and intake, turbo 350, 12 bolt, all the bolt on's, FAST fuel management, no power adder. Car is not driven on street, but could be. |
Heads, LT4 Hot cam and a 50 shot got me a 119, which would have been a low 11 had it not been for running drag radials and a stock converter. |
currently 11.7, but next time I go home im going to port match the intake, remove about 200lbs weight, install a roll bar, and box the LCAs and this time I wont run with a full tank of gas! :eyes: |

Derek Martin with the six speed white Z28, his car was hitting 10s in the low 130s, he daily drove it or drove it a lot on the street. That was a blower car, any forced induction LT1 esp a well set up turbo car could hit that on pump gas and be find on the street. Dave? on CZ28.com runs 10s on motor in his six speed car, featured in GM High tech. N20 is the best way to get there, LT1s run bad ass on the bottle. |
