Looking for LT's with good ground clearence.

I have been looking at different headers for a while now. I would like to get some LT's if at all possible but their is one problem facing me. The area in which I live has big speeds so most LT's would not work because they would just get scraped 2+ times a day. The only headers I know of that do not affect ground clearance is DynaTech LT's (I have heard this but I'm not 100% sure). If I cannot find no LT's that suit my needs I will just go with some SLP shortys which are about as good. Can anyone recommend any good LT's that won't scrap?

BTW I have a friend that has some SLP shorties for sale..... He wants 275 dollars it comes with the Y pipe also, I think he paid like 220 just for the Y itself from SLP.... THese came off his 96 Formula.... reason he is selling.... upgraded to Pacesetter Long tubes..

Jet-Hots aren't that bad with ground clearance

i think jethot has great clearance. the only thing that hangs a lil is the ory pipe on one side.

best overall is TPIS but ver pricey worth all the cash.

The clearance on my pacesetters is pretty good. I think the slip fit helps that alot.

My Hookers aren't too bad but I've scraped them a few times over some large bumps.

Kook's, Kook's, Kook's, Kook's, Kook's, Kook's, Kook's,............ My opinion may be a bit biased. Nick "Kook's Headers"

I like my hookers. I have the front end dropped to the point where the front tires were tucked into the wheel wells and never had a problem. You just have to learn not to go straight over the bumps and go at them at an angle

Nick could not be more correct!! If you are looking for a good quality header, with the best ground clearence look no further. Yes, you might spend a little more money than what you would on the others, but look at what you are getting. Kooks is the only header out there that has options! You can get 1 3/4 x3 or 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 x3......with or with out emissions. The also have a very nice Y pipe with cats or with out. Kooks is also one of the only headers out there that you can install with ease, and changing spark plugs is easier than any other header. They do there home work before building a header, and we are proud to be one of there largest distributors!!

Call or pm me for a great price!! :) :)
