What Dyno's More???
 

A '97 LT1 or a '99 Mustang GT??? I want to know because they are two options I am thinking of when I say enough money for a car. I currently have a '99 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, I need something with more performance.

i was under the impression that the LT1 would dyno just a bit higher than the gt mustang. ive heard ford advertises them at like 260 but to the wheels they dyno like 245-250. and that the lt1s are more like 265-275 to the wheels. but in a perfomance view they both run about the same time stock in the 1/4 low 14s.

if you plan on any modding at all get the lt1. mod motors SUCK for modding, and all the parts cost more than the ls1 stuff.
