trying to figure out CR of my mish-mash of parts for my Turbo Build Is there anyone hear who can help me figure out what the CR would be of my motor if I give you the specks of what I got to put in it? I have changed my mind from what I originaly planned to do and this has trown me for a loop and I have NO idea where the CR will fall out now?
This is what I was thinking of doing?
Lt1 with 383 Stroker (3.75) crank, 5.7" rods, Stock CC heads (about 55CC), .041 head gaskits, pistons with C.H. > 1.268, Bore size 4.030, CC's > Negative dome 35.000. Has anyone got any clue what CR this would give and if it would work?
What I had previusly was.
LT1 stock stroke (3.48) crank, 6" Rods, Stock CC heads (about 55CC), .041 head gaskits, pistons with C.H. > 1.268, Bore size 4.030, CC's > Negative dome 35.000. AND this build resulted in a 8.5 to 1 CR.
The things I am trying to changing would be the stroke of the crank and the Rod length. I want to see if its possible to build the stroker with the piostons I have and what CR it would result in?
Please point me in the right direction if you can help! Thanks a TON, Lata, Ark
