Default Delteq question!

I just bought my delteq kit just the other day and was wondering if any one figured out a way to wire a aftermarket rev liniter to this kit. Also if any body has any pics of installs other than the way the company shows i would appreciate some pics. Thanks.

I would post pics of my install but it's pretty messy! I had my kit overnighted last week so I could get it running for the big Rod Run in Pigeon Forge. I was at school and my friends installed it and so I told them do it quick as possible. Those wires are so long that they are run all over the engine bay! They are zip tied to my strut tower brace and everything. When I have time I am going to work on re routing them around the engine or maybe cutting them down. I think my friend said the shortest wire was 44 inches long! About the rev limiter, I already looked into and you can use the DIS-4 ignition from MSD but the Delteq guy told me a box isn't really neccesary with the output of the Delteq. LT1 Edit has an adjustable rev limiter but I assume you don't have that since you are asking this.

Stock limiter is fuel cut, MSD cuts the spark which is easier on the engine.

Exactly, i wasnt wanting to cut fuel to the motor. I was wanting to cut spark because it seems to me that would be a lot safer in the long run. Also im tossing around the idea of getting the bottle so i definitely would like to cut spark in that situation. Thanks guys.

Hmm, I didn't know it cut the fuel. That could be bad, lol For my nitrous, I have a fuel pressure safety switch which will shut the solenoids down if pressure drops below 30 psi.

I could do something along the lines of the safety switch, but it would be nice to run some type of aftermarket rev limiter as a back up safety precaution. I just want to protect the motor the best i can. I just really dont want to buy the aftermarket DIS-4 to do that.

Me neither but now that you've mentioned the fuel cutoff in the computer, I would really like a rev limiter too.
