Default Hotcammed LT1 smokes my TR230 cammed 02 TA!

Just was excited to say, since if you cant tell from my signature im an LT1 guy,
that my friends 97 Formula that we put together, Trick Flow LT1 heads, LT4 Hotcam kit, Hooker Long Tubes, hooker cat back, Boltons, 3.73s, MT ET streetsCan spank the ever living crap out of my 02 TA LS1 Specs: (230/224 .575/.562 110LSA) Flowtech Long Tubes, Hooker catback, Whisper lid, FRA, ported Maf, etc. which runs low 12.3s-12.4s in the summer at HRP

He still dont even have a torque converter in the thing yet, and on the launch hell get 5 cars lengths ahead, pull an additional 2 through first and then no one pulls untill well after 100, He must be cranking out the same RWHP as me (370) and running at least a 12.1 w/o a stall converter yet, on motor only. His car went from retarded slow (barely faster than a stock LS1) to faster than hell after I adjusted the valves again, and took the knock retard out of his computer since his exhaust rattles sometimes

Yeah im about to readjust my valves again after putting on my 1.6 rockers. Any thing different that you did when you adjusted that time? I am confused i thought you had the hotcammed ride. Im guessing your buddy has one as well. Havent seen you on the board here in a while.

What was the spray setting on the LT1?

I had a hotcammed 94 Z28, but I put a way bigger 236/242 .555/.576 cam in it, woulda run a ton faster as evident from the mph gain I got, but its got a horrible misfire I cant find, shes sitting right now untill I go back to houston again in a month or so, I didn't adjust the valves last time, we got the motor together and I had to leave, so my friend justin put the motor back in the car with the aid of a friend. The valves were close to how I adjust them anyway some 3 of them were a little too loose, and one was too tight, thats about it. and his exhaust rubs a bit somewhere so I figured it migh be giving it some retard. so I took it out of the computer.

and he used NO spray to beat my LS1.
