bosch 13111's LT1

Will bosch 13111's O2 sensors work with pacesetters LTs and LT1?

MattZ28 Jan 2, 2006 06:16 PM

I wouldn't waste my money on Bosch O2 sensors.

fastlt1 Jan 2, 2006 06:37 PM

What o2 sensors and extensions do you use?

greendrazil Nov 7, 2008 10:00 AM

There is a specific reason I'm bringing this thread up from 2yrs dead. I want to know if I can use the 13111's on my LT1 for front O2's.

Now my thought was to take the ends for the rear O2's (that are tuned out) and re-pin the front plug so It would accept the 13111's. Is this a good idea or should I just get extensions and O2's?

Stay away from Bosch products period. go with stock 02 and buy ext. I extended mine myself but everyone will tell u not too. If you dont do it right it throw readings.

greendrazil Nov 7, 2008 11:11 AM

I wish I could say that was helpful. I don't see myself spending twice as much for delco sensors. My main question was with the re-pinning of the plugs.

LT_WON Nov 7, 2008 11:22 AM

my two cents is ACDELCO sensors with extensions.

U asked if its a good idea or should u just get exts and o2. It's your car, if you think you can re-pin it go for it.
Since my post wasnt helpful maybe you should do some more research on here about Bosch 02s and extensions.:eyes:

I know you didn't mean anything bad, I just wanted to know if it was possible to do the re-pin. ie if they had the same wires. The main reason I opt for the Bosch stuff is I can get it with employee discount . The GM stuff I can't.

I also wanted to do it this weekend on my DD rather than wait a week for the extensions.

Smokinlt1 Nov 8, 2008 07:21 AM

I used a soldering iron and heat shrink to extend mine. Been almost 2 yrs now with no problems. A lot of peeps on here disagree about extending the O2s yourself. It wasnt that bad to me. As far as repinning i wouldn't know, i've never heard of it being done with 02s. If you can make it work go for it, I'm all about saving money.

There are places online you can find Delco sensors for about the same price you are going to pay for Bosch sensors at a parts store.

greendrazil Nov 8, 2008 10:33 AM

Ok, I've decided I want to try the re-pinning, but I can't seem to find the pin diagram for the new o2 sensor so I can match them up in the plug I have.

I did find shoebox's LT1 flat plug pin guide, though. Half way there for info I guess.

OEM Delcos are $60. No reason to use bosch garbage.

greendrazil Nov 8, 2008 10:49 AM

Again, I can get the Bosch 13111 for $40-$50 today rather than wait on the mail to come.

buffman Nov 8, 2008 01:28 PM

and again like 90% of all the people that put them in the car you'll have problems with them.

greendrazil Nov 8, 2008 02:43 PM

are you talking specifically about the rear vette o2's in general or just bosch?
I still would like to know about the 98-02 front o2 pin layout.

Smokinlt1 Nov 8, 2008 04:56 PM

everyone is talking about Bosch 02s. And it's just not on our cars, it's for all makes. we quit using any Bosch product about 3yrs ago at the shop I work at.

greendrazil Nov 8, 2008 06:20 PM

Thanks for the info. Now I still need to find something like this too. http://shbox.com/1/HO2S_connector.jpg

anyone know the best place to get the stock Delco ones online and what is the correct part # for the fronts on a OBD1 car?

Smokinlt1 Nov 9, 2008 08:47 AM
