Default Cam Question

Can a cam get you better mpg? Anyone running a cam that got you better fuel economy or know of one for LT1? thanks

If you want fuel economy then you chose the wrong car to purchase

look into freeing up airflow and exhaust....that's all I can tell you man!!!
you can also go to a roller rocker...might help with 1-2 mpg...
but I'm guessing at this point!!!

Larger cams are going to take in more air and use more fuel along with it. Buy an electric car.

You can go a little bigger without losing any signifigant milage but you aren't going to gain and it is not the larger cam that allows the same milage it is the supporting mods like headers and intake that offset the lose you should see with a cam.

I have a gm847 so to hell with fuel economy. I just was wondering if anyone ran a cam that got better mpg or about the same as stock. simple question as of yet unanswered.
