gears in my ta i have a stock m6 ta, i plan on rebuldin it asap and all that good stuff so i can have a fun daily driver. but for now i want to put gears in it im thinkin 4.10's, thats what a few buddies say i should put in. now is that to much for a daily driver is it gonna kill my gas mileage, and can any one tell me where to buy gears at. |
I drive an auto with Motive 4.10 gears. My gas mileage isn't great, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Should be fine with m6 |
I say 4.10s are Ok. You might notice a little drop in gas mileage but not a lot. You can try some of the sponsors sites or just get it all from Summit.... Sometimes where ever you go to get the gears installed than can get you a better price than buying the parts yourself. I paid $450 with a re-build of all bearings and races, and the 4.10's installed... |

its a 95, my family owns a auto repair shop so i told them to see how much they would cost me. are the 4.10 gonna be a huge difference or what cause im ready to go fast. |
why with a 93 would u want a 3.73 at most? are u concerned about the carrier? |
