SLP CAI issue

The small bracket that holds the CAI in keeps bending, and the intake wll make this annoying squeak noise while I'm driving. I've tried bending it back, but it just works its way out. Does anyone have a fix?

Um..which bracket. you have a picture?

the bracket by the radiator? i would think if you bend it back it would stay, mine was bent and i bent it back and no problems since. maybe you could drill out a whole and use a small bolt/nut to keep it in place.

that bracket sucks anyways...it never stays in and i dont even have the thing on the bottom tha goes around the two tubes and holes it in that hole...it just sits there and no squeaky for me

Like stated before...just drill a small hole in the bracket and on the core support. Use a self tapping screw to ensure no movement.

Okay, I will run to the hardware store next week after finals are over. Thanks for your help!

That self-tapping screw worked well. Thank you. I have had no issues for the past 3 weeks.

Damn! Eight years no problems ;)

Glad you got it fixed
