Should I be able to take out a Mach I with 4.56 gears ,full exhaust and a computer tune?

well check my Signature.....i raced a mach 1 on the freeway a couple weeks ago and pulled a car length on him and kept pulling......so you should whoop his butt.

yeah you should i raced one right after i got mine running he was stock though we started at like 40 he got the hit as soon as i got on it i pulled past him and just kept pulling

Mach 1's are quick cars. They run in the weaker LS1 range. They usually run between 13.6-13.8...

The auto's, the M5's are closer to 13.3-13.4 with a decent driver and some have gotten them to go quicker. They will give a LS1 a good run, most of the time a driver race till the speeds pick up then they will get pulled.

well this is all good news to me gives me a better idea of where my car sits after all the stuff i did when i got the motor rebuilt cause as soon as we started in my race he never stopped me from pulling on him and once i got past him ne never pulled on me and it was about 40 to 100.... now i just need to go to the track and get a decent launch and get some et's

You have a 383 with 407 RWHP and he has a Mach 1 with exhaust, gears and a tune...What do you think?

lol you should beat him pretty easily i would expect but i have seen wierder things happen in races :drive:

haha no, you should EASILY beat him. Is this run frmo a dig or roll?

Then what are you so worried about?

If he's on tires He could hole shot you with those big gears, but after that it will be game over for him. Mach's do well from a dig, but you have too much power for him to over come

Yeah we will both be on slicks and I only got 3.73's. He only has 311 RWHP

yeah i have to say hes done with the juice espicially unless he has a hidden 250 shot or something like that he might keep it close but i have to say you will definately win if what you listed is all he has.... only way he can win is if you break something .... BTW what do you put down with the gas if you know

yeah but i have 2.73 gears so i am quicker on the freeway than i am in 1/4 mile. i watched a couple of mach 1's at the track and they all ran high 13's low 14's except for one ran 13 flat and he had some mods.
