question for tubular k-member guys
i've run across a good deal on a PA racing tubular k member, but the only thing is it's set up for the manual steering rack. how much trouble/modification is involved in running a manual rack kit (flaming river specifically) on that setup.
if it's do-able, how much expense/time is involved in making the necessary adjustments?
thanks,
jeff

i went that route and do regret it. was kind of a pita to make everything work. just get a standard k-member and get the bolt in manuel rack and then if you want to go back to the power setup later you can. in hindsight that is what i would do.

you will need to extend the tie rod ends and buy the correct steering u-joint that fits over the manuel rack. and those parts have to be cut and welded up to work with your existing parts. i got all the parts i needed from applied racing technology. appliedracing.com
