I think the pressure on the GTP is different, the injectors will fit, and work. But I don't think they will be #36

{Edit} GTP's FP is 47psi Those injectors are #36 @ 47psi

The LT1 fuel pressure is 43.5psi (3bar)

Assuming Slomofo's numbers are correct, the GTP 36# injectors will perform like 34.63# injectors on your LT1.

Im not %100 percent on the GTP #'s, but I have a set of stock Bosch Brown tops there were off a GTP. They said they were #30s

I then found out they were 30's @ 47 psi, and around 24's at 43.5

GTP PWR -- don't suppose we could get a part number off of those injectors? That way, we could be certain.

Well, from what I can gather, the GTP's had a fuel pressure range of 48-55psi (without vacuum / WOT) -- with a median of ~52psi. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that the injectors were rated at that fuel pressure. It appears they were actually rated at 3.5BAR, or 50.75psi.

It's arguable that 42-47psi is within the 'normal' range for our LT1's, but ~51psi is a bit more of a change.

*At any rate, the formula for converting fuel injectors by fuel pressure is as follows:
sqrt(New fuel pressure / Old fuel pressure) * Old injector size = New injector size.

Assuming the 50.75psi number, that would mean 36# injectors would equate to 33.32# injectors with our 43.5psi. Again, from my last post, they would perform like 34.63# injectors in our cars if they were originally rated at 47psi.

Slomofo -- If your 24# number were correct, that would require that the GTP fuel pressure was actually closer to 67.97psi (to enduce such a drop from 30#). Again, using that 50.75psi estimate, your 30# injectors would actually perform like 27.77# injectors at our 43.5psi. Using your estimate of 47psi, those 30# injectors would perform like 28.86# injectors at our 43.5psi.

Gotcha, I wasn't sure as to what they really were. All I really knew was they were #30 @ 47 psi, and was Told they were off a stock GTP.

Thanks for the info though, very usefull
