Default Something we can all do

I was looking at my engine bay today and I decided that it would look really nice if I could replace some items like hoses and tubes with metal braided lines and connectors. What are some easy things that you could replace with like 4AN,6AN, or 8AN lines and connectors? Pics would be great if you have braided lines in your bay!

I did the Coolant Cross-over line, but you can't really see that.

If you wanted to do it a cheaper way, you could just get some of the steel braid covers.

Buy like 6 feet of this stuff at a time and slip it over the existing hoses to make them look like steel braided. You can also buy hose clamps that look like the metal fittings, but are still just hose clamps. However, those clamps get kinda pricey. I am doing this for my dirtbike...

SFX performance offers then in their spectre line up...

^that is correct.

The cost of doing all the lines in the bay with new SS/AN fittings would be outrageous. And considering its the fittings that are the most expensive you would be digging deep into your wallet.

Just for my new fuel system on the 396 I had about $700 in lines and fittings. -10 Feed/-8 Return. And I even used the summit brand fittings, pretty much the same quality but almost $1-2 cheaper for each fitting.

Maybe someday when I want things to look pretty I will do that, but for now my money is going to the motor and new paint
