3.73's, need help. tried search but not what I want.
I'm getting the gears tomorrow, but I need to to know what is my current on in order to know the which Carrier I have, all what i have read when I searched was to look for codes in the glove box.
the bad news is, call me stupid but when I first got the car the glove box was broken so I got a new one and I threw the original one in the garbage, Now I really need help before I go and spend the money, I know the shop will not take the part back if I buy it.
thanks in advance.
Edit**
My speedo is 155mph, if that helps.

Should be a metal tag bolted to the diff cover. Otherwise you will have to pull the cover and get the ratio directly off the gear.
If your car is an auto, then I believe it has the 3.23 and up carrier.

Some cars have the codes on the door too. No luck there? Otherwise yea, you will probably be pulling the cover. Its an auto car I assume? GU2 = 2.73 and GU5 = 3.23 If its a stick I am pretty sure they all came with 3.42's. Either way you are smart to check in the diff, never can be 100% nobody has changed them already without looking in there.
