flowmaster muffler help

i need a new muffler, old one has holes in it now and the sound really pisses me off.. well i was on the flowmaster site lookin at mufflers only for my car (1997 Z28). It said the 40series was the loudest and most aggressive, well the muffler doesnt look like it will fit on my car, cuz i have one in and 2 outs, and the 40series has one in and one out..

so can anyone tell me what would actually fit my car and another thing, it says a 2.25 outlet will fit 1982-2001 camaro and they also say a 2.50'' outlet will fit the same application

i want to buy a flowmaster muffler (cuz its cheap), but i want it to be the loudest i can get for my car, so if anyone can give me the url and model no. tothe exact muffler that will fit for my car, that would be great.. thanx

I belive the 80 series is the only one offered by flowmaster that has the an inlet on one side and outlets on both sides, like the stock v8 camaros. You can run a 40 series but it will not have outlets on both sides.

If you like Flowmaster then get flowmaster but Flowmaster mufflers dont flow well and the general build quality isnt that great. If I was you i would go with a Dynomax ultra-flow welded or a Hooker aerochamber. The Hooker aerochamber is like $79 and the Dynomax is stainless steel and is $99. I will never put a flowmaster product on any of my cars ever again

I have a flowmaster in my 94 t/a, I've heard bad things about them on f-bodies, but it was already there on the car when I bought it, and to tell the truth..... I do like how it sounds!!! :)

I'd get the 40 series, those sound awesome! Forgot the crossflow 80 series...
