I have had two of them. The first one had the single intercooler mounted under the rad. it was horrible to drive ground clearance wise. The other was the twin intercoolers in front of each front tire. It was 10x better and no you do not have to remove the nose piece. Just be careful when you are done to attach the lead edge of the wheelhouse to something other wise the air pressure will make it rubb the tires and destroy the plastic liner.
