what are the 4 big alan bolts under my intake?
I pulled my intake to port it out. And im getting it sandblasted to i took everything off of it. Under the lifter vally cover under the intake there 4 12mm alan heads under the intake. What are these huge ones for?? And when i get it sand blasted, should i take them out, leave um in, CAN i even take um out. What the heck are they for?

They're just plugs so that the factory could drill the IAC holes in each runner, and then plug them up when done. You don't need to remove them. In fact, they're a bitch. Been there, tried that. Could not get them to budge. Just clean the intake really well after you're done. Three times. When I had my intake media blasted (with plastic bb's), they fell out of my intake for about half an hour. I'd shake, 1 or 2 would fall out... shake more, a couple more... etc.

I removed mine and had the intake cleaned, Came back like new other than a little discoloration from the (Chemicals) I painted the intake red anyway. When reinstalling use a tread lock even though it is a pipe thread to prevent any future vacume leaks.
