? about Pacesetter LT's I am getting ready to order the Pacesetter long tubes and ORY for my 94 Z. Should I do the headers and ORY first or the converter install. I don't want to have to unhook everything to drop the trans. |
get the headers first then a catback if you dont have one. i would get tires before the stall converter too. |
long tubes first |
do you already have the verter? do both at the same time. but if you dont have the verter, its going to be easier to take the y-pipe down on the headers compared to the y pipe on the manifolds. |
Thanks for the input. I have my combo planned out. My question was regarding ease of installation. I hate to sound lazy, but I work six days a week and would like do do this in the easiest manner possible. I might take Scweet97Z's aadvice and do them at the same time. |
i would think doing both at the same time would be best. |
i just had pacesetters installed a few month ago love them just get some better gaskets for the headers the ones you get don`t last long |
I got the Coated Pace Setter Racing LT's with no emissions from Summit. They came with the Copper Gaskets. The real metal ones, they are 1/32 inch thick. Do the Stall and the Headers at the same time, that way the car isn't doyn for long, and things are out of the way. I installed my LT's when I changed out the Head Gaskets. That was the easiest way I have ever installed LT's. |
