Default Fastest LT1 Bolt-On time?

Need some help guys...
I'm trying to find out the quickest ET to date for Bolt-On ONLY LT1 cars. I'm looking for NA times AND weight. A few of my friends have asked me this lately and I figure this is a good place to findout. Thanks ahead of time guys for any info.
With the VERY good air coming to my area in the next few weeks I've got three or four mods/tricks I wanna try to see if I can hit an 11.99 with just bolt-ons and still remain in the 3500 pound range.
Steve...

I posted this at Z28.com in the LT1 section as well as LS1 & here:

How's it going man. What is your log-in name on z-28.com I have the same log-in name in their as I do here. I saw your car in the magazine. Congrats man. I know you had to work hard for it since it was an invite only. I always read the posts on ls1.com, but it would never let me post after I registered even after I cleared all the cookies. I didn't understand it, but I guess my membership was cut off since it wouldn't let me post. I'll get back to your question. What about the guy that ran at the Thunder Shootout that was protested. Was that supposed to be a bolt-on only class? His times appeared to be real good from what I remember if that was a bolt-on only class. My name is Cory Maher, and I am from West Monroe, LA. I met Tim Herrington and Paul when they came up to RRR about a month ago. They were good people. Did you make it? One of my friends ran a 12.55 with a 96 z-28 auto. that had an 1800 stall with ported heads and bolt-ons. He couldn't tell a differece with the heads and stall though, and it was already running similar times without the heads and stall.

Your thinking of Brandon B, he's bolt-ons with a cam. That class allowed cams. And they gave him the win after further review, very good move.I'm looking for straight bolt-on times.

I read on ls1.com that you had to go to the hospital for burns. Hope everything going alright for you, and you get better.

INTIMID8R from Va is running 12.2's with bolt ons and stock internals(drag radials). He has a 97 WS6

other than that I think you have the fastest bolt on time right now

Do gears count as internal or bolt on?

Looks like I raised the bar last night... or should I say lower. Great air and a hooking track produced a 12.07 @ 110.15 on a 1.56 60'!!!
11's are just a cutout away. Best 60' of the night was a 1.55.

My time was done long ago, when bolton 12's were very slim. I was chasing after Frank Wanicka's 12.21@109.XX, which at that time was simply awesome, and it still is a very good time. I myself had the basic boltons, raceweight was 3715 with me in it, so my car was no a lightweight by any means and its a 6spd car. Also I only had Edelbrock shorty headers. I ran this time in the summer/May:

60ft 1.74
1/8th 7.9@87.89
1/4 12.48@110.55

After those runs, I had purchased Hooker LT's , mufflex Y-pipe,3"cutout,LT1 edit, plus I took ALOT of weight out, and I waited till Oct to get the cold air, but on the way to the track the car spun a rod bearing. So I was never able to test it. I'm pretty sure the car would have been in the low 12's-high 11's@111-113, but who knows. Anyhow good luck, its good to see the LT1 guys this many years later still battling it out. Let us know when you hit the 11's.

Jose

Damn Jose, that's flyin!!! My best last year was 12.53 with a race weight of 3650 and fewer mods and a 2800 stall vs my 3800 now. Frank W's 12.2 has been in my sights ever since I heard about it way back. Only thing is I NEVER thought I'd hit it... let alone pass it up, LOL. But all things considered to run a 12.2 back then is still F'n incredable!!!

A few years ago, my bolt on Formula was running pretty well....

ET wasnt the greatest since I was on stock 16" GSC's, but the mph was pretty impressive. 12.94@110.55

The car had SLP 1 3/4" headers, no cat, Borla (open), 1.6 rockers (some people consider this a bolt on/others dont), 4" intake, and some road race suspension stuff. 93 Formula M6
