Default Trick flow heads for lt1 and turbo??

I heard that the trick flow heads for the lt1 will lower your compression. Which would be awesome in my case since I'm running a turbo system on a stock engine. How much should it lower it by and how much extra boost could I run on a stock engine with a safe tune. I'm currently running 7psi with the meth kit on the stock engine.

well, the trick flow heads have a 64cc(give er take), while I THINK the LT1 Aluminum heads are 54cc. Stock LT1 Iron heads are also 64cc. The stock iron gasket is compressed to .029", while the Aluminum one is .039 compressed. An iron head motor has a 10:1 compression, while the aluminum head ones have 10.5:1. So if you put the trick flows on it would take it down to around 10:1, then if you used a thicker(than the .029 gasket) it would lower it even more. I would find a few compression calculators on the net and punch some #'s in. All the #'s are from memory, so I bet some of the cc's are off by maybe 4cc's. sorry, donno anything about boost.
