Default Critique my new cam please?

I ordered a new cam from combo motorsports

I got a 233/239 duration, .569/.577 lift, 112lsa+3

All these are with 1.6 rockers

My heads ported to flow 255/185 and milled + gasket to give me 11.5:1

Will this cam be aggressive enough?

Its a mild built 355ci and its in my 240z, weighs 2550lb and has the t56

Please tell me this cam will work out well, lol

Im shooting for 400whp tuned

With that cam and a good tune, I don't think you'll have any problem hitting 400whp with 11.5 comp. If you don't make at least that something is not right.

with the right parts it was a BREEZE, looks perfect in there

I used JTR mount kit

So you guys think that cam is aggressive enough? I was worried about the duration not being enough?? The lift is about right, and he cut 3* into the cam he says should help midrange and wont have to rev the **** out of it, since the bottom end is still powdered rods and stock crank

I did make 336whp on a hotcam and stock heads through a cheap restrictive muffler

I am using tunercat and I can sit on the dyno all day for free so I should be able to get a great tune in it

That's a healthy cam for stock/near stock cubes. It will make good power.

thats good news to me also 96 im doing my build with a 224/230 .573/.576 on a 111lsa, im hoping for the same thing gonna upgrade the internals a little and prolly send my heads to LE for a stage 2 more than likely, want to get as close as possible to the 400 mark and then spray it

BTW nazar what rear end are you using??

i went all out in the rear

Q45 r230 vlsd rear diff
moser custom halfshafts
billet cv adapters
cv's on all sides
280z stub axles
3/4" billet mustache bar
custom front diff mount

This rear end has handled over 1000hp and has taken many cars into the 9's

The car also has big willwood brakes and full coilover race suspension with all adjustable pieces, sparco seats, etc....its come a long way

BTW, I went with this cam over the gm847 because it has slightly less duration, but more lift

I wonder what the +3 will do that he's cuttin into it

If i can hit 400whp on pump gas and a bit more on race gas and more timing I am hoping to go 10's on the motor
