Stock Timing Chain Play Ok most saw my post regarding my new BRE cam. Question is I have super low mile under 10k engine and the chain just seams too loose for me. If one side is held taught there is about 7/16 to 1/2 of play. If the chain is grabbed you can rattle it around. The car did have a small shake upon acceleration before the cam but otherwise ran flawless and no noise.
LT1 chains do not appear cheap and I just do not want to find out the new one is the same deal???
