Default would it be ok to put cam in 134k lt1?

I was just wondering if there would be any reliability issues with installing a cam such as cc305 or cc306 in an engine with 134k provided that all valve train componets were also replaced

i have 150,000 miles on my t/a and i am planning on putting in a cc306 or a custom grind cam at the end of the month. as long as you replace the roller rockers, springs, rods, stall converter, etc. you will be fine.

Its hard to tell. It all depends on how well the motor has been maintained, but thats just my opinion. I also plan on puttin the 306 in my car, but not til dec.

make sure when taking the old cam out and putting the new one in you dont hit or nick the cam bearings with the lobes.

if your going to do it- do it right- buy a cam and lifter set, and go with 1.6 roller rockers, and an LT4 knock module..- go with some LT4 springs also..

Do it like this.... swap the cam, but always be prepared to rebuild your engine. And if it goes oh well... atleast you'll know what cam you'll be using in the next one.

I would re-build it, that way you have fresh parts. Mine shitout at 111,000 miles. Part of that can be attributed to a blown Head Gasket and the previous owner, but it's nice to know that you have a new setup.
