F'in security light
 

I was at the track today to try out the new engine made a couple passes on dr's swapped out to the e.t. streets to make a couple of good passes. do my burn out get to the line and stage. lights green i go for about 20ft and then the security light comes on kills the car, goes off car goes again, it does this three times down the track. so i tried again same thing. got on it coming home and the same damn thing security light will come on and I'll lose tach signal. pcmsforless disabled my vats so this shouldn't be an issue anyone have any idea wtf is going on? :bang:

Sounds crazy, never heard of this before.

the actual vats module althought disabled is still on the car so there may be a short somewhere in the system

I found the problem it was me being a dumbass. the bolts that hold the coil and some ground wires to the front of the cylinder head were loose. re tightend no more problems. :rock:

Damn,,, I thought you had a vats story. I'll never foget the time I was stuck in the middle of no where for 3 hours because of a damned security light.
