XFI lobes were designed with beehives in mind, so the 918 beehives would likely be the right choice but double check that with the cam card.

yeah its suppose to use the beehives.. i have afr's so i ordered their hydraulic roller springs with my heads.. hold on to your hat in the upper rpm range of that cam.. in my 383 that thing totally hauls *** from 4500 to 7000rpm's. i was quite surprised cause 383 are suppose to be a flatter curve not to mention a 4000 stall.

I had the Comp 236/242 XFI stick in my 355 LT1 and that thing straight got bizzy when you floored it.......

crazy throttle response, nasty idle, and great pull all the way to 6600ish.... I'd imagine the 230/236 is just a small step down from this with better streetability... what lsa????? get a 112.... you won't regret it....

the 230/236 cam also has a nasty idle and will pull like hell up to 6200. The sound of the cam along deters idiots and ricers alike from reving crappy engines at me. Plus I broke my motor mounts so decided to put solid motor mounts in. The car shakes like crazy with the cam. I think that just adds to the "Dont *ucking mess with me" personna

I also have that cam in my 383, but on a 114+1 lsa... Havent got it tuned yet, but on 15psi it will be an absolute beast.

During motor break-in I got it to 4000ish and a little less than 1/2 throttle, it was pulling way harder than the stock motor with 10psi @ 6500 could ever even dream of.

it has a 113LSA......that's what the Tech rep at Thunder suggested I ran with my setup that's going on: LE2 heads, TNT F1 100 shot (maybe a lil bigger) worked intake to match the Heads.
